Vintage 2-Carats Diamonds and Red Spinel Cluster Ring
Vintage 2-Carats Diamonds and Red Spinel Cluster Ring
Couldn't load pickup availability
A striking mid-1960s vintage cluster ring in 14k showcasing the refined taste of its maker. Ten marquise-cut Myanmar Red Spinels (1.5-carats) frame twelve round brilliant diamonds (0.5-carat), each stone selected for exceptional clarity and sparkle.
Red spinel, historically mistaken for ruby in royal collections, The Black Prince's Ruby and the Timur Ruby, for example, delivers a sophisticated depth that complements the diamonds' radiant brilliance.  These Myanmar Red Spinels offer no apology.  They are  exceptional gems in their own right.
The clean, understated shank allows the gemstone composition to command attention. As does its distinguished presence, with a face measuring 23.5mm x 15mm.  Currently a size 2.5, and weighing 5.9 grams, this piece can be upsized to approximately 4–4.5 by your jeweler. A testament to mid-century craftsmanship and discerning gemstone quality.
